The Drovers Arms

A little more about us.

The Drovers Arms dates back to the 15th Century and as the name suggest it was built as a resting place for drovers as they drove their animals from Anglesey through Rhewl down to London.
The landlords are now Sion and Sam Roberts who took the pub over in September 2020 during the pandemic - clearly not the best time to take over a pub.

However, in a short space of time they and their enthusiastic staff have developed The Drovers into a very popular local restaurant and pub offering wonderful food at reasonable prices.

They are both local people and set up home in Rhewl over 20 years ago. Sion hasn't moved far as he was born and brought up in the old station house, which is just down the road from the pub.

They have recently won Newcomers of The Year in the JW Lees Pub of The Year awards and would like to thank their staff for all their hard work, which has helped them win such a prestigious award.

A warm welcome is extended to all.
